Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, etc.)
Instructions
Prepare the Patties:
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form into 4 equal-sized patties, slightly larger than the buns (they will shrink when cooked).
Cook the Burgers:
- Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
Toast the Buns:
- Remove patties and toast burger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes until golden.
Assemble & Serve:
- Place cooked patties on buns and add toppings of choice.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For spicy burgers, add cayenne or chili flakes to the meat mixture.
- For BBQ burgers, brush with BBQ sauce before serving.
- For a leaner option, substitute ground turkey or chicken.
- For sliders, make smaller patties and cook for about 8 minutes.
