Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, etc.)

Instructions

Prepare the Patties:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form into 4 equal-sized patties, slightly larger than the buns (they will shrink when cooked).

Cook the Burgers:

  1. Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  3. If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty in the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Toast the Buns:

  1. Remove patties and toast burger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes until golden.

Assemble & Serve:

  1. Place cooked patties on buns and add toppings of choice.
  2. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For spicy burgers, add cayenne or chili flakes to the meat mixture.
