  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 cup broccoli florets

1/2 cup snow peas

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  • Add sliced beef and cook 4–5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, stir-fry bell pepper, broccoli, and snow peas for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch.

  • Pour sauce over veggies and stir to coat.

  • Return beef to skillet and toss to combine. Cook 2–3 more minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Use low-sodium soy sauce to reduce sodium.

  • Add mushrooms, baby corn, or zucchini to bulk up the veggies.

  • For spice, stir in chili flakes or sriracha.

  • Slice beef thinly against the grain for max tenderness.
