A delicious and easy-to-make Berry French Toast Casserole, perfect for breakfast or brunch

Ingredients

1 loaf French bread, cut into cubes

2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

4 large eggs

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

Powdered sugar for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Layer the bread cubes and berries in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Pour over the bread mixture.
  4. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to use any type of berries you prefer.
  • Best served warm, but can also be enjoyed cold or reheated.
