Ingredients
- 1 package plant-based ground meat
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 4 large vegan-friendly tortillas
- 4 slices vegan cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- ½ cup pickles, sliced
- ¼ cup vegan mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until translucent, about 3–4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add plant-based ground meat to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Stir in soy sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, pepper, and salt. Let cook for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Lay tortillas flat and spread vegan mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in the center.
- Place a slice of vegan cheese on each tortilla. Add the prepared filling, then top with lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles.
- Fold the sides of the tortillas, then roll them up tightly. Optionally, grill them for a few minutes to get a crispy texture.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Feel free to adjust the seasonings to taste.
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free tortillas and tamari instead of soy sauce.
