- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/3 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp diced bell pepper
- 1 tbsp sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2–3 tbsp additional marinara sauce (for topping)
- **8 pepperoni slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or chili flakes for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Prepare the Base:
- In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, diced bell pepper, and sliced black olives.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
3. Add Mozzarella Cheese:
- Stir in half of the shredded mozzarella cheese into the mixture.
4. Assemble the Bowls:
- Divide the cottage cheese mixture evenly into two oven-safe ramekins or bowls.
5. Add Toppings:
- Top each bowl with 1-2 tbsp of additional marinara sauce, the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices.
6. Bake:
- Place the bowls in the preheated oven and bake for 15-16 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Garnish and Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Garnish with fresh basil or chili flakes if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
