These Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Yogurt Clusters are a refreshing frozen treat that combines juicy strawberries, creamy Greek yogurt, and rich dark chocolate. Simple to make and perfect for a healthy snack or light dessert, these bite-sized clusters are full of flavor and the ideal balance of tangy and sweet.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 8 clusters

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Baking Sheet

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the yogurt clusters from sticking.

Step 2: Mix the Yogurt and Strawberries

  1. In a bowl, combine the chopped strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey (if using), and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir until well mixed.

Step 3: Form the Clusters

  1. Drop spoonfuls of the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small clusters.

Step 4: Freeze the Clusters

  1. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 1-2 hours, or until the yogurt clusters are firm and set.

Step 5: Melt the Chocolate

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

Step 6: Dip the Clusters in Chocolate

  1. Dip each frozen yogurt cluster into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  2. Place the chocolate-covered clusters back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 7: Top with Sea Salt

  1. If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on each cluster for an added burst of flavor.
  2. Return the clusters to the freezer for another 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

Step 8: Enjoy

  1. Once the chocolate has set, enjoy these sweet, cool clusters straight from the freezer as a refreshing treat!

Notes

  • Use Different Fruit: You can substitute strawberries with raspberries, blueberries, or sliced bananas for a variety of flavors.
  • Nut Butter Coating: Swap the chocolate for almond butter or peanut butter for a nutty twist.
  • Dark Chocolate Alternative: If you prefer a sweeter option, use milk chocolate or white chocolate instead of dark chocolate.
  • Add Toppings: Consider adding crushed nuts, coconut flakes, or granola on top of the chocolate before freezing for extra texture.
