- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, honey, and dry yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture and stir until a dough begins to form.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Once the dough has risen, it’s ready to use for pizza, cinnamon rolls, breadsticks, or other baked goods of your choice. Shape, fill, and bake according to your recipe’s requirements!
Notes
- Pizza: Roll the dough into a pizza shape, top with your favorite sauce, cheese, and toppings, then bake at 475°F (245°C) for 10-12 minutes.
- Cinnamon Rolls: Roll into a rectangle, spread with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, roll up, slice, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes. Top with glaze.
- Breadsticks: Roll into strips, brush with olive oil and garlic, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes.
- Stuffed Bread: Fill with cheese, veggies, or meats for savory rolls or stuffed bread.
