Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F and let it preheat for 5 minutes. This helps ensure the potatoes get nice and crispy as soon as they go in.
- Prepare the Potatoes: While the air fryer is preheating, wash and dry the Yukon gold potatoes thoroughly. Dice them into 1/2-inch cubes for even cooking and optimal crispiness.
- Season the Potatoes: Place the diced potatoes in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle on the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the potatoes are evenly coated with the oil and spices.
- Air Fry the Potatoes: Transfer the seasoned potatoes into the air fryer basket, spreading them out in a single even layer. Avoid overcrowding to guarantee crisp edges. If necessary, cook in batches.
- Cook and Toss: Air fry the potatoes for 20 minutes. Pause to toss and shake the basket 2-3 times during cooking to ensure they cook and brown evenly. Potatoes should be fork-tender and have crispy, golden edges when ready.
- Optional Extra Crisp: If your air fryer has an air broil function, use it to broil the potatoes for an additional 2-3 minutes, shaking as needed for even crisping. If not, turn the air fryer up to 450°F and broil in the same way.
- Serve: Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and, if desired, top with fresh chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy hot!

- Don’t overcrowd the basket; cook in batches for best texture.
- No need to peel Yukon gold potatoes unless you prefer them peeled—the skin gets nicely crisp.
