  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

For the Battering:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

For Frying:

  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the heavy cream and beat until light and fluffy. Set aside.

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Scoop small spoonfuls of the cheesecake filling and dip them into the batter, coating them evenly.
  • Carefully drop the battered cheesecake bites into the hot oil, frying for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, toss the sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and let them macerate for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve the deep-fried cheesecake bites topped with the sweetened strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar.
