1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.

Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into squares along the perforations.

In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.

Brush each dough square with melted butter and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Fold the dough squares into a cruffin shape and place them into the muffin tin, stacking them if needed to form a layered effect.
