Ingredients
For the Beef & Marinade:
- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
For the Stir-Fry:
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
For the Sauce:
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Marinate the Beef:
- In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch.
- Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes while preparing the vegetables.

Cook the Vegetables:
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Stir-fry bell peppers and onions for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
- Remove from the pan and set aside.

Cook the Beef:
- Add the remaining 1 tbsp vegetable oil to the pan.
- Stir-fry marinated beef for 2-3 minutes until browned.
- Add garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

Combine & Serve:
- Return the vegetables to the pan with the beef.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, coating everything in the sauce.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra heat, add red pepper flakes or sliced chili peppers.
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free soy sauce and oyster sauce.
- For a vegetable boost, add broccoli, snap peas, mushrooms, or zucchini.
- For extra sauce, double the sauce ingredients.
