  • 1 box (3 oz) strawberry-flavored gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • Optional: Fresh strawberries, sliced, for garnish

  1. Preheat the oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare the cake batter as directed and pour it into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake according to package instructions (about 25 minutes) or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.

2. Prepare the Strawberry Jell-O:

  1. Use a fork or the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes evenly across the cooled cake.

  1. Spread the thawed whipped topping evenly over the chilled cake.

5. Garnish & Serve:

  1. Top with fresh sliced strawberries, if desired.
  2. Slice, serve chilled, and enjoy!
