Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread, cubed
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add the cubed bread to the bowl and stir to coat. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to absorb.
  4. Spoon the bread mixture into the muffin tin, dividing evenly. Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
