Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (such as sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and cook for 4-6 minutes until browned on all sides.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the butter, garlic powder, onion powder, Parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the cheese has melted and the steak bites are coated.
  4. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and return them to the pot.
  5. Mash the potatoes with the heavy cream, milk, and butter until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the garlic Parmesan steak bites over the mashed potatoes and enjoy!
