Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute, making sure not to burn it.

Add cherry tomatoes and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet.

Top each chicken breast with shredded mozzarella cheese and place the skillet in the preheated oven.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and melted.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve!
