For the Tzatziki Sauce:
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs (or almond flour for keto), egg white, chopped onion, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the meatballs bake, prepare the tzatziki sauce by combining Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, olive oil, fresh dill, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Serve the meatballs with a generous amount of tzatziki sauce on top or on the side for dipping.
