Ingredients

Ground Turkey:

  • 1 pound ground turkey

Zucchinis:

  • 2 medium zucchinis

Other Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1⁄2 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1⁄4 cup chicken broth
  • 1⁄4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté onion: Peel and finely chop the onion. Add to the skillet and sauté until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add garlic: Peel and mince the garlic cloves. Add to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Cook turkey: Crumble ground turkey into the skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
  5. Prepare zucchini: Wash, trim, and slice the zucchinis. Add to the skillet with the turkey.
  6. Season: Sprinkle oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes over the mixture. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Add cheese: Sprinkle Parmesan over the skillet and stir until melted.
  8. Adjust seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  9. Serve: Garnish with extra Parmesan and serve hot.
