Ingredients
Ground Turkey:
- 1 pound ground turkey
Zucchinis:
- 2 medium zucchinis
Other Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1⁄2 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1⁄4 cup chicken broth
- 1⁄4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté onion: Peel and finely chop the onion. Add to the skillet and sauté until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add garlic: Peel and mince the garlic cloves. Add to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Cook turkey: Crumble ground turkey into the skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
- Prepare zucchini: Wash, trim, and slice the zucchinis. Add to the skillet with the turkey.
- Season: Sprinkle oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes over the mixture. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add cheese: Sprinkle Parmesan over the skillet and stir until melted.
- Adjust seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve: Garnish with extra Parmesan and serve hot.
