- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine almond flour, ground flaxseed, parmesan cheese, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the egg, shredded mozzarella, and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
- Using your hands, form the dough into small rolls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- While the rolls bake, sauté minced garlic in butter over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Once the rolls are done, brush them with the garlic butter mixture before serving.
Notes
- For a cheesier roll, add extra mozzarella or cheddar cheese to the dough.
- Add dried herbs like oregano, rosemary, or thyme to enhance the flavor.
- You can swirl garlic butter into the center of the rolls for an extra layer of flavor.
- Sprinkle extra parmesan on top for a crispy, cheesy crust.
