  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 6 rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine almond flour, ground flaxseed, parmesan cheese, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the egg, shredded mozzarella, and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
  • Using your hands, form the dough into small rolls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  • While the rolls bake, sauté minced garlic in butter over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Once the rolls are done, brush them with the garlic butter mixture before serving.

Notes

  • For a cheesier roll, add extra mozzarella or cheddar cheese to the dough.
  • Add dried herbs like oregano, rosemary, or thyme to enhance the flavor.
  • You can swirl garlic butter into the center of the rolls for an extra layer of flavor.
  • Sprinkle extra parmesan on top for a crispy, cheesy crust.
