Ingredients
- 1 pound rotisserie chicken, pulled or chopped
- 3/4 cup Korean BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Preheat your oven to a high broil setting and position a rack in the center. Toss the pulled rotisserie chicken with Korean BBQ sauce until evenly coated. Spread the sauced chicken in an even layer on a baking sheet or oven-safe skillet.
- Broil the Chicken: Place the baking sheet under the broiler and cook for 8-12 minutes, or until the sauce caramelizes and the chicken edges become slightly crispy. Watch closely to prevent burning.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve hot over cooked rice. Optionally, garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions.
Notes
- Spicy Kick: Add a tablespoon of gochujang (Korean chili paste) for extra heat in the BBQ sauce.
- Add Veggies: For extra texture and flavor, toss in sliced bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms when broiling.
- Homemade Sauce: Make your own Korean BBQ sauce by combining soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and gochujang
