Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¾ cup mini chocolate chips
- 12 mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, unwrapped
- ½ cup melted chocolate for drizzle
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- Cream the Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, beating until well combined.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until incorporated.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Stir in mini chocolate chips.
- Form the Dough Balls: Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them into the mini muffin tin.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Add Reese’s Cups: While the cookies are still warm, gently press a mini Reese’s cup into the center of each cookie.
- Drizzle with Chocolate: Once the cookies have cooled, drizzle with melted chocolate for extra indulgence.
Notes
- Add Nuts: For added crunch, try adding chopped peanuts or walnuts to the dough.
- Other Candies: Swap Reese’s cups for Snickers, Milky Way, or your favorite candy for a new twist.
- Larger Cookies: Use a regular muffin tin instead of a mini muffin tin for larger cookie bites.
- Drizzle Variations: Add caramel or white chocolate drizzle in addition to the dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
