Ingredients
- 1 package of plant-based ground meat
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large tortilla wraps
- 4 slices of vegan cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
- 1/4 cup vegan mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add plant-based ground meat to the skillet. Break it up with a spatula, allowing it to brown for 5-7 minutes. Stir in soy sauce or tamari, tomato paste, vegan Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
- Prepare the tortillas by laying them flat or heating them for 10-15 seconds in a skillet or microwave.
- Spread a thin layer of vegan mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on each tortilla. Add a slice of vegan cheddar cheese, followed by a generous scoop of the prepared filling. Top with shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla, then roll it from the bottom up to secure the filling inside. Optionally, grill the wraps in a skillet for 2-3 minutes for a crispy finish.

- Feel free to add or substitute ingredients like sautéed mushrooms, avocado slices, or vegan bacon.
- Add hot sauce or chili flakes for a spicy kick.
