- 1 lb ground beef

- 1 oz packet taco seasoning
- 10.5 oz can cheddar cheese soup
- 4 cups potatoes, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef and minced garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add Taco Seasoning: Stir in taco seasoning and set the beef mixture aside.
- Layer Potatoes: Spread sliced potatoes evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Add Beef Layer: Layer the cooked ground beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Add Soup and Broth: Pour cheddar cheese soup and beef broth evenly over the beef layer.
- Top with Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole.
- Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
- Final Bake: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to melt and brown the cheese.
- Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
