Ingredients
Beef:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
Sauce:
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Optional Garnish:
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
-
Sear the Steak (Optional but Recommended):
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear steak bites in batches for 2–3 minutes until browned on all sides. Transfer to a slow cooker. -
Mix the Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. -
Slow Cook:
Pour the sauce over the steak bites. Stir to coat evenly. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours until the meat is fork-tender. -
Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy over mashed potatoes, rice, or your favorite low-carb veggie.
Notes
-
No Sear Shortcut: You can skip searing for faster prep, but browning adds deeper flavor.
-
Veggie Add-In: Add mushrooms, baby carrots, or cubed potatoes in the last hour of cooking.
-
Thicker Sauce: For a thicker glaze, reduce sauce on the stovetop or stir in 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water at the end.
